Hawk release new video for ‘Sleep’

Hawk have released a new video for 'Sleep' taken from their forthcoming self titled EP due in Spring 2016. The song is about not being able to sleep because you're harbouring some guilt. Its about wanting to come clean and even be punished, so you can clear your conscious and sleep peacefully and lose the mask that you hide behind.

The video was created by singer and guitarist Julie. Julie who hails from Galway originally, is also a fluent Irish speaker and hand made all the furnishings and characters within the video as well as filming it.

“I love getting immersed in creative work and the concept for this video had been floating around in my mind for some time.,” Julie says. “When it was eventually completed we thought it would be pretty perfect to release to coincide with this year’s Other Voices festival.”

Hawk are set to play the IMRO Other Room at Other Voices in Dingle this year and we featured them as One To Watch in the run up to Other Voices 2015. Read that article here.
