Other Voices: Ones To Watch – Chanele McGuinness

Other Voices is right around the corner and we have decided to put together a list of our ones to watch at Other Voices 2015. Our fourth act on this list is Chanele McGuinness.

Chanele McGuinness is a singer-songwriter from Donegal who has had a stellar year. Not only did she go on tour with American songstress Natalie Prass across the UK

and Europe, release her 'Ghosts' EP and play two sets at Electric Picnic, she is also featured on the most recent Galaxy Chocolate advert and the new LG advert alongside Joseph Gordon Levitt.

Chanele has been a strong favourite of this blog ever since we first heard her angelic tones on stage at the unsigned section of Sea Sessions 2014. Since then she has gone from strength to strength playing all over the UK and Europe rubbing shoulders with the likes of Ryan Adams, Lisa Hannigan and Natalie Prass. Back in July she also released her 'Ghosts' EP which has garnered a lot of attention form music lovers all over. Listen to her track 'Already Gone' from the EP below:

Chanele is set to play the Other Voices Trail in Dingle this year, and we can't emphasise enough how much you need to see this girl play. If you are in Dingle for Other Voices this is one not to miss!

We have filmed session videos with a number of the acts announced for Other Voices 2015 so far, with Chanele McGuinness being one of those acts. Back in June we met up with Chanele in the beautiful Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin where she performed two tracks for The OB Sessions, 'Ghosts' and 'Dreams which can be found below.
