Premiere: Laura Ryder – Pullover

Irish musician Laura Ryder is set to release her debut EP 'haiku' in the Workman's Club tonight. The EP was self recorded in the singers bedroom and features a playful style of music that reminds me of acts like Lucy Spraggan. The self recorded aspect of the EP is evident while listening to the tracks but it adds a certain charm to the music which I can't imagine coming across if this was recorded in a more professional setting.

The EP features four tracks that all carry their own styles and show a few different sides to Ryder. Opener 'Pullover' is the stand out track for me though, a track that features strings and a more playful style of vocals to guide us along the jumpy piano led melody.

I am delighted to premiere 'Pullover' from the EP haiku which you can listen to below.
