Hvmmingbyrd are back with new single 'Legacy', a relaxed-dream pop track that tackles harassment and making sure that you are not brushed aside and forgotten.
Originally a solo project of Deborah Byrne, Hvmmingbyrd became two when Suzette Das joined in 2016. The duo fuse warm sensual vocals, electronic pulses and shimmering pop sounds with heartfelt lyricism.
The girls have teamed up with Director Brian Benjamin Dwyer for the video which explores the many forms of harassment faced by a lot of women in their everyday lives. If you have ever been in one of those scenarios it is always the thought of what you should have done that haunts you afterwards. This is exactly what happens in the video. The hands of time are turned back allowing these women to change how they react to the harassment they faced.
Hvmmingbyrd are launching new single 'Legacy' on March 30th in the Workman's Club with support from Maria Kelly and Dreaming of Jupiter.
If you would like to win tickets to the show all you have to do is comment on The OB's Facebook post of this article with who you would like to bring to the gig and a winner will be contacted on March 29th.
